Supra R3 Motorscope (upto 37kW)
The Supra-R3 is a Motor Protection Relay which measures Volts, Amps and Power Factor with limits on each for protection on Induction motors. These limits are checked continuously.
For the user-convenience sake, the Supra-R3 also includes Wi-Fi which could be used for remote start/stop and motor status monitoring. The Wi-Fi protocol can be configured for:
- MQTT (sparkplug B), which directs all status change messages to our own free to use remote monitoring website or
- MODBUS (version 3 RTU) client, which can be continuously polled by a MODBUS server to display the motor status / remote start / stop the controller straight from existing Automation Control software.
It also includes configurable automation timers which can either be used as a scheduler (eight, seven day, twenty four hour schedules) OR sequencer (seven sequential ON / OFF timers).
- The sequencer could be used to implement a delayed startup after Power ON. This function is used when multiple pumps are connected to a single power line. Bringing down the starting current on the line dramatically.
- The scheduler could be used for planned motor runs with a specific start and stop time to let the motors run for example at times when electricity is priced at a lower rate.
Auxiliary input for peripheral control. For example a float switch to keep a tank or dam full of water.
And last but not least a recovery timer for the restart of a motor after a low power (Run Dry) trip to allow for the recovery of a sump or borehole level.
All Motorscope products can be monitored with our mobile application called NcsToolbox. It is already available for Andriod device via the Google Play Store and we are presently working on iOS mobile application for Apple devices. Most prominent features of the NcsToolbox Mobile Application:
- Completely ad free and works with Bluetooth, which means that it does not require any active internet connection at site and no annoying advertisement interruptions.
- Has a calibration wizard to improve user friendliness.
- Parameters can be set without an extra tool. All you need is a Smartphone.
- Trip data can be downloaded in the field and shared immediately (or saved and shared when connected with internet again) with WhatsApp, Telegram or Email. This helps with fault finding and warranty claims.

| Features | RECOVERY TIMES: The Supra has a Recovery Timer to allow a bore-hole to fill up before a restart attempt is made (after a run-dry condition).
